Brewers Lose Fifth Straight

MILWAUKEE, WI- The Brewers were blanked by the Philadelphia Phillies 10-0 Wednesday night, tasting defeat for the fifth straight game.  Milwaukee has scored just six runs in those five games including three shutouts.  Aaron Nola and reliever Andrew Bellatti held Brewer batters to just four hits and, while it’s good to get Willy Adames, Luis Urias, and Hunter Renfroe back in the lineup, those three went one-for-11 with six strikeouts.  Milwaukee’s lead remains one game because the Cardinals lost, too.  Corbin Burnes will try to salvage one win out of the three-game series when he starts against Thursday afternoon.
