GREEN BAY, WI- It’s not really a good bet to expect the Green Bay Packers to be selecting players at numbers 22 and 28 in the first round of the 2022 N-F-L Draft starting Thursday. That’s not how general manager Brian Gutekunst has done business in the past. In his first draft, he traded back once, then traded up so the Packers could take cornerback Jaire Alexander in 2018. The next year he traded back into the first round so he could draft safety Darnell Savage Junior. A year later Gutekunst traded up four spots so he could get quarterback Jordan Love. There’s just no predicting what the G-M is going to do later this week.
