Jacquelyn M. “Jacky” (Tinsman) Popp

Jacquelyn M. “Jacky” Popp, age 74, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her home. Jacky was born in Shawano on October 19, 1947 to the late Jack F. and Phyllis (Garska) Tinsman. She graduated from Shawano High School. Jacky was united in marriage to Albert “Al” Popp on April 23, 1966. Al preceded her in death in 2016. Jacky owned and operated her own beauty salon called Jacky’s Salon on South Main Street. She loved collecting bears and dolls as well as gardening and attending antique shows. Jacky enjoyed watching Jeopardy, The Price is Right, and Packer games. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by: her son, Wade (Jenny) Popp; granddaughter, Bethany Popp; Aunt Mary Jo (Bob) Brunner; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Shirley Popp, Karen (Steve) Van Ryzin, and Marvin (Judy) Popp.

Jacky was preceded in death by her husband, Al; parents, Jack and Phyllis; and her brother-in-law, Howard Popp.

A funeral service for Jacky will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at 11:30 am at the funeral home until the time of service.
