Local K9 Is A Challenge Champion

OCONTO FALLS, WI- Menominee County Sheriff’s Department K9 Ruger and his handler Sargent Hoffman participated in the Karl Zeitler Memorial Law Dog Challenge over the weekend. The pair brought home some hardware. Ruger competed against nearly 20 k9 teams across the state and finished 1st in the building search scenario with the quickest time locating a
person in a large warehouse. Ruger also did well in the narcotics search and bite challenge. The team was awarded with a trophy.
