An Oconto County man convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage relative over a two-year period was sentenced this week to 20 years in prison. 41 year old Jonathan M. Hanson, will then serve another 10 years on extended supervision. He was charged with repeated sexual assault of a child, strangulation and suffocation, and physical abuse of a child-intentionally cause bodily harm by conduct which creates a high probability of great bodily harm. Hanson pleaded no contest in November to the first count, As part of a plea agreement, the other two counts were considered by the Judge at sentencing and dismissed.
