New London Man pronounced dead at the scene

A New London man died after his truck crashed into a semi Friday afternoon. Outagamie County deputies were called to the intersection of U.S. Highway 45 and County Highway T. Preliminary investigation found that the semi, driven by a 38-year-old Shawano man, was traveling through the intersection and was struck by a pickup truck. The driver, a 33-year-old New London man, did not stop for the red light. The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was not hurt. The intersection was closed for about five hours, and the crash remains under investigation.
