SURING, WI- The superintendent for the Suring School District has been placed on administrative leave while she faces six felony charges. The school board made that move at a Wednesday meeting after a closed session that lasted for more than an hour. Superintendent Kelly Casper is charged with false imprisonment for the search of six high school girls for vape devices in January. The students say they were forced to strip down to their underwear without being given the chance to leave or call their parents. All of the victims were between the ages of 14 and 17. Parents got a chance to speak to the school board before they made their decision.
Michelle Pendl will take over as Interim Superintendent.
