
Mark A. Jarvis, age 57 of Bear Creek passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, surrounded by his family at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah. He spent the last two weeks of life battling complications from COVID-19.
Mark Anthony Jarvis was born on November 25, 1964, at Clintonville Hospital to Harold and Katherine (Johnson) Jarvis. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1983. On May 6, 1989, he was united in marriage to Cindy Forseth. He started working at Marion Plywood (now known as Great Lakes Veneer) on October 21,1985 where he has continued to work for the last 30 plus years. Mark’s goal was to be the most tenured man at the Plywood.
During his life here on Earth he enjoyed first and foremost spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Mark also enjoyed camping and vacationing with his wife. In addition to working a full-time job Mark spent countless hours in Big Falls providing a helping hand on the farm.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Cindy; and three children, a son Quentin Forseth (Cassandra Beyersdorf) of New London; a son Austin Jarvis (Adrienne Clark) of Clintonville; and a daughter Katlin Dilge (Brenty) of Bear Creek. There are 8 grandchildren: Auron, Hunter, Annabell, Finlee, Tristan, Graham, Brooks, and Collins. There are two siblings, a sister Debra Jarvis of Bear Creek, and a brother Chris Jarvis (Bonnie) of Bear Creek. There are two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law: Kara (Mike) Krohn, Chris (Jenny) Forseth, Tim (Jess) Forseth, Sarah (Jason) Krueger, and Kyle Forseth. He is further survived by his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Verna Forseth, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Kathy Jarvis, and a sister-in-law, Kelli Forseth.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 29th at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bear Creek, with Fr. Timothy Shillcox, O. Praem officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of mass at the church. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting with the arrangements.
