Carla M. Condon, age 70 of Clintonville passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at ThedaCare Medical Center, Shawano.
The former Carla May Watters was born on July 19, 1951, in New London to Nile and Vera (Miller) Watters. She grew up in New London and graduated from New London High School in 1970. Carla worked for close to 15 years as a quality control supervisor at Flanagan Brothers Sauerkraut Factory, Bear Creek. Carla was united in marriage on May 18, 2002, to Gary M. Condon in the Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County. The couple loved going on road trips with friends and the question was simply asked “where are we going and who’s driving?” Carla and Gary were also active members of the Clintonville Family Moose Lodge. Her husband preceded her in death on August 28, 2013.
In her early days, Carla liked doing ceramic projects and creating beautiful oil paintings. For many years she collected antique bottles, cans, and containers of all sorts. Carla enjoyed traveling to see different places, especially trips to Mexico and Jamaica. She liked taking her convertible Mustang out for a road trip usually to the local casino to play the slot machines.
Survivors include two children, Kelly (Nathan) Schreiber of Clintonville and Chris (fiancée Kate Silva) Young of Iola; and five grandchildren: Abbey, Brady, Laney, Dominick, and Colton. She is further survived by one sister, Carol Koplin of Bear Creek; a sister-in-law, Terry Watters of New London; and many other relatives and friends.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Gary; two brothers, Royal and Gary Watters; and a brother-in-law, Craig Koplin.
