Raymond Harvey Kauffman, age 21, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Raymond was born on August 8, 2000, to Randy Jay & Rosemarie Visaya Kauffman. Raymond was always artistically and academically brilliant. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from both Mountain View High School in Stafford, VA and the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.
Raymond’s hobbies included: drawing sketches of his loved ones, powerlifting, and video games. He had an amazing sense of humor and was always a presence to look forward to. Raymond spent every summer from the age of 5 until the age of 19 in Tigerton with his beloved grandmother, Virginia Kauffman. He loved to volunteer for Tigerton Main Street and even drew a picture of Tigerton High School for Debbie Griepentrog to hang forever inside. He put his Bachelors degree in Computer Science, minor in Cyber Security, to good use working happily for Tech Wizards, Inc. in King George, VA.
Raymond is an amazing son, brother and friend, and is loved by many. He was a kind and gentle soul with a smile that made your heart melt. He is and will be loved and remembered forever and always by his soulmate Courtney Smith. He is survived by his parents Randy & Rosemarie; his brothers Edgar and Rannell; his sister Renee; his best friend and partner Courtney Smith; and many aunts, uncles and cousins living around the globe.
Raymond was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harvey Kauffman and Fidel De Leon Visaya; and grandmother, Corazon Encarnacion Visaya.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 11:00 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Tigerton. Rev. Dean Suehring will officiate and burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
