GREEN BAY, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Authorities say two students at Green Bay’s Preble High School thought it would be funny to threaten a shooting at the school. They were wrong. The suspects accused of making the social media posts have been taken into custody at the Brown County Secure Detention facility. Officials say one is 15 years old and the other is 16. The Instagram post threatened an active shooter event was going to happen at Preble. Police and the school system took the threats seriously. Green Bay Area Public School District Superintendent Stephen Murley says the parents and students who reported the posts did the right thing. The two students could be charged with making terrorist threats.
