KESHENA, WI- Menominee Tribal Clinic is now taking appointments for COVID-19 testing. The change was made from a walk-in format due to the demand for testing. Clinic officials say that swabs need to be run for testing within one hour after leaving the nose and they can’t run all the swabs in the hour if they get too many. The hope is to be able to spread the testing out more. The other issue with having too many show up without appointments, the tests need to be sent out. They say that means results will not be available for 3 to 5 days and those who are waiting will need to isolate until then.
