Reds Prevent Sweep

MILWAUKEE, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network) – The Cincinnati Reds managed to avoid a sweep by beating Milwaukee at American Family Field Thursday 5-1.  Cincinnati got a three-run homer from Rookie of the Year favorite Jonathan India, then slugger Nick Castellanos added a solo shot.  Starter Sonny Gray held the Brewers scoreless over six innings, giving up just three hits.  Luis Urias slammed his 17^th home run of the season for the only Milwaukee run.  Despite the loss, the Brewers are 25-and-11 since the All-Star break and they have an eight-and-a-half-game lead in the standings.  They start a weekend series at Minnesota Friday at 7:10 p-m with lefty Eric Lauer getting the start.
