OCONTO, WI- The woman accused of shooting an Oconto Falls police officer was a no-show for a Thursday hearing. Twenty-nine-year-old Alisha Kocken refused to appear in Oconto County Circuit Court. She is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and several other felonies for the confrontation with Officer Nicole Blaskowski last week. There are currently two active cases involving Kocken – the criminal case and a mental commitment case. Authorities say she has been combative with jail staff and has sometimes been incoherent. Kocken is being held at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. The criminal case is on hold while her mental competency is determined.
