TOWN OF MAINE, WI- Reports of a tornado in Outagamie County came in Tuesday evening.
Plenty of eye witness photos and videos show the tornado touching down from a distance, but it is believed to have reached ground near the intersection of Navarino Road and Deerview Road in the Town of Main shortly after 6pm on Tuesday.
The Nichols Fire Department responded initially to a residence in that area to begin damage assessment.
It was confirmed there were no injuries in the immediate area and crews continued to assess the situation for life safety concerns and further damage to property.
Any residents in the area who experienced property damage should report the damage to Outagamie County.
Crews are continuing to assess storm damage in the area at this time and will forward their findings to
the National Weather Service for further evaluation.
