Little Chute Fire Department Finds More Than Expected When Responding To Call

APPLETON, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Members of the Little Chute Fire Department didn’t exactly find what they were expecting when they responded to a call on Interstate 41 last Friday.  They were told about a possible crash involving a vehicle and a deer.  When they arrived they found a vehicle carrying animal carcasses had dropped part of its load on the I-41 roadway.  The interstate was closed to traffic Friday between 7:00 and 11:00 p-m as the road was cleared.  Barn lime was used to lessen the slippery conditions and make it safer for vehicles.
