TIGERTON, WI- TCHdailynews continues Class of 2021 Top Of Class Profiles with a look at the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Class of 2021.
VALEDICTORIAN: SAVANNAH SWARTZ
Savannah has been a student in the Tigerton district since 7th grade. She finished her senior year with a grade point average of 3.9 and said a lot of time went into achieving that.
She said that along with the hours spent making that happen for herself, it was also many years in the making trying to achieve a long-time goal.
Swartz said her Senior year was different than most classes experienced, but she was able to make the most out of it.
Even in her Senior year, Savannah did not shy away from difficult classes. She took AP Calculus as her tough class this year. One class that she was not looking forward to taking was Physics but said once she took it, it became one of her most rewarding classes. “It was fun, really,” Swartz said.
As far as extracurricular activities, Swartz spent time playing three sports, Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball but said one did stand out.
At graduation, Savannah will be giving a speech to her class that she says she hopes has them thinking about the future.
Swartz is going to be attending UW-Madison and studying Pharmacy. She was asked where she sees herself in 10 years.
Her best advice to underclassmen who may want to follow in her footsteps, don’t procrastinate.
SALUTATORIAN: ADRIENNE BRADY
How does it feel to be a Salutatorian and part of the top of the class?
It is an honor, and it feels great because I worked really hard to have good grades while competing in sports and academic competitions and being involved in so many extracurricular activities.
What is the best part about high school?
The best part of high school was being around friends most of the time and going through experiences (sports, clubs, dances, classes) with them, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Also,

What’s the most rewarding class that you’ve taken?
The most rewarding class was a CAPP class for teaching education because it made me even more excited about going into the field of teaching.

Yes, I have had many late nights after getting home from sports practices and games to finish my school work.
Describe your senior year in one word.
Unpredictable
What advice would you offer underclassmen?
Experience high school. Take in each event and every moment you can, go to sporting events, dress up for spirit week. Before you know it, you’ll be in my shoes, wondering where the time went as you plan for your future after high school.
