APPLETON, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Public health managers in the Fox Cities are calling their program “beer and a shot.” At a vaccine clinic in Appleton, anyone who gets a COVID-19 shot will receive a free beer. Appleton Health Department spokesman Kurt Eggebrecht says officials are trying to be creative and get some people off the fence when it comes to getting vaccinated. The rate of coronavirus vaccinations has been steadily falling in Wisconsin since the first week of April.
