Sally Anne (Paiser) Hoefs

Sally Anne Hoefs, age 62 of Clintonville formerly of Leopolis, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Sally was born on December 21, 1958 to the late Robert and Helen (Pieper) Paiser in Shawano. On September 15, 1980, Sally was united in marriage to William “Wild Bill” Hoefs at Stony Hill Lutheran Church in Thornton. She was a hairdresser by trade. Sally worked at Spurgons for 10 years and then Eagle Knitting Mill for 15 years. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church where she donated and volunteered her time. Sally loved sewing, knitting, cooking, baking, making afghans for babies, and crafts. She also loved taking care of her grandchildren and all the adopted children at the school, taking care of other people, as well as all the other children she adopted along the way. She was known as “Grandma Sally” to everyone she knew and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sally is survived by her husband of over 40 years, William “Wild Bill” Hoefs; daughter, Roberta (Leroy) Pingel; stepchildren, Louie (Debbie) Hoefs, Billy (Simone) Hoefs, Jr., and Linda (Kyle) Gawlick; grandchildren, Dominic Pingle; step grandchildren, Courtney Amundson, Casey Hoefs, Niki Hoefs, and William Hoefs; siblings, Thomas Paiser, Sandy Paiser, Judy (Raymond) Begrow, Jeff (Sue) Paiser, and Mary (Harley) Wright. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jim Paiser and Betty Magolski.

Services will be held at a later date.
