DE PERE, WI- A Seymour man was arrested for a fourth offense of operating a vehicle under the influence.
30-year-old Eric Shemenkowski was found shoeless near the site of a crash early Sunday morning.
The Wisconsin State Patrol was called out to I-41 near De Pere around 5:18 a.m for a single-vehicle crash.
The State Trooper on scene found a pair of shoes near the vehicle and later located Shemenkowski. The Trooper reported that Shemenkowski showed signs of impairment.
According to the police report, Shemenkowski refused a field sobriety test and a warrant was issued by authorities for a blood draw. Shemenkowski was later booked into the Brown County Jail on charges of 4th offense operating while under the influence, failure to install an ignition interlock device, unsafe lane deviation, operating without a license, failure to report an accident, and hit run property adjacent to the highway.
