
Steven W. Southard, age 65, of Paulina St., Clintonville passed away Thursday evening, March 25, 2021 at Kindred Hearts of Clintonville.
Steven Ward Southard was born on April 7, 1955 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton to Wayne “Bud” and Donna (Bellile) Southard. He grew up in the New London area and graduated from New London High School in 1973. Steve was a machine operator at Zwicker Knitting Mill in Appleton for many years until they closed. Then he was employed as a custodian at the Fox River Mall in Grand Chute for some years.
Steve was very handy and completed lots of improvement projects to his home. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or shooting his pellet gun. Steve liked walking around town or taking his PT Cruiser out for a ride. He will be remembered most for devoting a large part of his life to caring for his mother.
Survivors include his best friend, June Thompson of Clintonville; and three brothers, Richard Southard of New London, Mark Southard of Neenah, and Tom Southard of Appleton. He is further survived by an aunt, Kay Brush of Atlanta, GA; an uncle, Fred (Mary) Bellile of New London; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; a brother James; and two aunts, Arylene (Dick) Wanty and Sharon (Gordie) Werdin.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 30th at 2:00 PM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, with Fr. Timothy Shillcox, O. Praem officiating. Burial will follow at Twelve Corners Cemetery – Town of Center. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
