MADISON, WI – (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Two bills moving through the Legislature would ease restrictions on alcohol-to-go sales. One is headed for the governor’s desk after the Wisconsin Senate approved it on a 28-to-two vote. The Assembly gave its approval last week. The first bill would let bars and restaurants sell mixed drinks and glasses of wine to-go. The second would let people order alcohol from grocery stores and taverns online or by phone – and pick it up in a designated parking space outside the business. That one also passed the Senate and is headed to the Assembly for its approval.
