KESHENA, WI-Menominee Tribal Clinic announced some changes to their procedures. All patients will be given a temperature check and screened with symptom questions at the main entrance.
Clinic officials say anybody who is not truthful in the process will be asked to leave the clinic. Masks and hand sanitizer will still be required.
There will still be limits to the number of people in the clinic and people who are using the clinic’s services are urged to keep their children at home if they are not the reason for the visit.
OB patients will be allowed, one support person. Patients newborn to age 18 will be allowed, one parent or guardian. Elders requiring physical assistance will be allowed, one adult.
Tribal Clinic staff say even though the number of COVID-19 cases is going down, it is not time to let up on any safety precautions.
