Stange Named Next Captain

SHAWANO, WI- Lieutenant Shane Stange was named the next Captain of the Shawano Police Department.

The decision was announced by the Police and Fire Commission on Wednesday.

Stange was named Lieutenant in 2018 at the same time that Brad Rabideau was named Captain. The two were sworn into their new positions on the same date.

Once again, the two are making a move together. Captain Rabideau will become the new Chief of Police in January, and at the same time, Stange will take over Rabideau’s current position.
