CLINTONVILLE, WI- Clintonville Mayor Rich Beggs will be taking a leave from his position as Mayor as he has underwent surgery.
The Mayor told the Clintonville Common Council during the last meeting that he has a tumor on the front of his brain that is impacting his vision. The surgery took place on Tuesday.
Beggs says he expects to be out of the office for at least two weeks and during that time, Council President Mike Hankins will take over as acting mayor.
