
Charles C. Glock, age 90 of the Town of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at his home with his wife and family by his side.
Charles was born on May 22, 1930 in Appleton, Minnesota, a son of the late Conrad and Hilda (Brodhagen) Glock. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1948. On January 10, 1954, Charles was united in marriage to Shirley Habeck. He served in the National Guard, and spent one year on active duty. Charles worked as an engineering technician at the Gehl Company in West Bend until 1982, when he and Shirley moved to Lubbock, Texas. He was employed at AG Industries until 1989 when they moved to Shawano to care for Shirley’s father. After her father’s passing, they built a new home on the family farmstead. Charles loved the farm, and enjoyed riding the trails through the woods on the UTV. He also liked making wood for the fireplace. Charles is a member of St. Jakobi Lutheran Church in the Town of Richmond.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley; his son, Jeffrey C. Glock and his wife, Jane Reilly, of Mequon; his daughters, Jayne (Al) Heinecke of West Bend and Jamie (Tim) Massey of Shawano; grandchildren, Andrew Heinecke, Jason (Kristin) Heinecke, Jody (Jim) Fellers, and Austin Massey; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Collin Heinecke and Lucas and Abbey Fellers; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Edward and Leona Habeck; one brother; and one sister.
Due to COVID-19, private family funeral services for Charles will be held at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church, Town of Richmond, with interment in St. Jakobi Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Travis Kleinschmidt will officiate.
