CLINTONVILLE, WI- A welfare check in Clintonville over the weekend resulted in a drug arrest.
Clintonville Police was called to Kwik Trip Sunday night and located a woman who was reported to have been intoxicated.
The woman had a child with her. Officers say the woman reached into her pocket and dropped multiple baggies on the ground.
She later admitted that the substance inside was heroin.
Police say they located 28 bags which totaled 32 grams.
The woman, identified as a 47-year-old Minocqua woman was transported to the Waupaca County Jail.
