OSHKOSH, WI – (Wisconsin Radio Network) – President Donald Trump brought a law and order message to Midwest battle states Monday. He told crowds in Wisconsin and Minnesota it is “crunch time” for the November election.
Trump won Wisconsin’s electoral votes by less than one percent in 2016 and the margin appears to be razor-thin again. During a Monday stop in Oshkosh, the president seized on Joe Biden’s decision not to come to Milwaukee for his party’s national convention.
He said that means Biden is “effectively abandoning” Wisconsin. The Clinton campaign felt it lost Wisconsin four years ago because she failed to visit the Badger State.
Once again, President Donald Trump questioned the validity of the November election and did it during his campaign stop Monday in Oshkosh.
“Get out and vote. Do those beautiful absentee ballots, or just make sure your vote gets counted. Make sure, because the only way we’re gonna lose this election is if the election is rigged, remember that. It’s the only way we’re going to lose this election.”
During the rally, Trump also suggested he may be owned a third term, (quote) “because they spied on my campaign.”
Trump’s in-person rally coincided with the first day of the largely virtual Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee.
