GRAND CHUTE, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Grand Chute Police Chief Greg Peterson says his department has completed its investigation of the controversial social media posts by one of his officers.
At the end of a two-month review, it was determined Officer Bryce La Luzerne had been telling the truth when he said the tweets sent when he was a teenager were song lyrics.
The investigation started in late May based on an anonymous tip.
La Luzerne’s record as a police officer showed no troubling tendencies and all uses of force were justified.
Chief Peterson says no action will be taken against the officer.
