William F. Sullivan (Bill) passed away on his 91st birthday, Wednesday, March 18, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1929, in the Town of Bear Creek, son of the late Charles and Julia (Kostrak) Sullivan. On October 20, 1955, Bill was united in marriage to Mary Jane Gorman in Lebanon. They lived most of their life in the Bear Creek area until moving to Clintonville into Aster Assisted Living. He served his country in the Marine Corp and was a life member of the VFW Post #2663. Bill was a hardworking man he worked at Hillshire Farms for many years. After retirement, he didn’t have enough to do so he went to work for Riverside Tool & Carbide sharpening blades. Bill loved spending time with his family, hunting, working on his hobby farm, he cared for every animal that showed up on the farm, going on rides to see the deer, helping Fuzzy with horse rides, he enjoyed attending his grand and great grand children’s events and always had a few words of “encouragement” for them, Bill was known for playing practical jokes and always had a story or two to tell. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bear Creek.
Bill is survived by his wife Mary Jane; children: Barb (Jesse) Kennow; Mary (Larry) Hartwig; Tim (Carol Eanone) Sullivan; Pete Sullivan; Pat Sullivan; and Beth (Kevin) Adams. Grandchildren: Brenda (David) Strebe, Brian (Andrea) Sasman, Jerry Sasman, Scott (Chris) Kennow, Jessica (Brian) Bozek, Chad (Kelly) Kennow, Kathy Jo (Jason) Krueger, Joe (Brandi Suttner) Hartwig, Jeff (Kari Norton) Hartwig, Jeremy (Becky) Hartwig, Phillip Sullivan, Zach (Jessica) Schroeder, Tasha Eanone, Travis (Kassie) Eanone, Brandon (Alyssa) Sullivan, Shayla Sullivan, Charlie (Angie) Stueck, Casey (Laura) Stueck.
