Jack Willis Brown, age 92, of Gresham, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Birch Hill Health Services. Jack was born in Gresham on March 3, 1928, to the late Charles and Lillian (Pace) Brown. He graduated from Gresham High School on 1945. Jacked lived in Texas for several years before returning to Gresham. On July 7, 1990, Jack was united in marriage to Mary (Vick) Pevonka in Tilleda. Mary preceded Jack in death on September 4, 2015. Jack enjoyed polka dancing with Mary as well as gardening and working in his yard.
Jack is survived by: a step daughter, Cyndi Anderson of Appleton; step grandchildren, Jamisson, Josh and Asaon; seven step great grandchildren; two nephews, Howard Brockman and Buster (Jean) Brockman and one niece Mary Brockman. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Jack will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
