Just before 9 p.m. Tuesday night, authorities in Oconto County were called to an accident near the intersection of Doran Street and Pine Avenue in the city of Oconto.
Both the Oconto County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Oconto Police Department arrived to discover a westbound vehicle had rolled over near the intersection. The driver, a 51-year-old female, was the lone occupant and was ejected from the vehicle.
Oconto Fire and Rescue had transported the female to an Oconto hospital, however she was pronounced dead shortly after.
The crash remains under investigation by the City of Oconto Police and the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office. Further information will be released at a later time.
