
Dennis E. Krauski, age 70 of Shawano, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, May 5, 2020 at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano from natural causes.
Dennis was born October 23, 1949 in Milwaukee, a son of the late Edwin and Lucille (Burzlaff) Krauski. He attended Milwaukee public schools and Pulaski High School. Following school, Dennis entered the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. Upon returning from the service, Dennis started working at Allright Parking Services. In a career that lasted for 34 years, Dennis successfully worked his way up through various ownership changes and positions, until retiring as Operation Manager from SP+ in 2016. On September 20, 2008, Dennis was united in marriage to the former Sandy (Darrow) Buettner in Shawano. The couple lived in Milwaukee until they retired, then moved to Shawano. Dennis was raised Catholic. He enjoyed golf, bowling, playing Sheepshead, going to the casino, and spending time with his family and his beloved cats, Rudy and Toby. He also loved woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Krauski of Shawano; his children, Brian (Jen) Krauski of Brandon, Florida, Chrystie Buettner of Appleton, and Matthew Buettner of Billings, Montana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Lewandowski.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
