KINGSTON, MO – A highly anticipated court process for a Missouri farmer resulted in more change.
Garland Nelson asked for a new judge and a change of venue before entering his plea.
An arraignment was scheduled for Monday, but was postponed to a date yet to be scheduled.
He will not enter a plea until a new judge is assigned, according to the clerk of courts.
Nelson is accused of killing Nick and Justin Diemel while they were on a business trip to collect money owed to them. The remains were located in a manure pile on Nelson’s property, according to police.
