BOWLER, WI – The Stockbridge-Munsee helped locate a wanted fugitive on Friday.
Police say Manuel Mendoza and Delores Garcia were both taken into custody in relation to an active investigation of a shooting in Green Bay.
Police received information that the suspects were possibly staying at a residence on River Road on the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation.
Just after 3:30 in the afternoon, the Shawano County Special Response Team executed a search warrant. Three people were arrested, including a 25-year-old male that was being held on local charges.
Police were able to locate a firearm and suspected illegal drugs a the residence.
The operation was an ongoing investigation between the Stockbridge-Munsee PD, Green Bay PD, the State SCI and US Marshall’s Service along with Shawano County, Shawano PD, Menominee Tribal Police and Menominee County.
