GILLETT, WI- Gillett School District Administration has decided to postpone Prom rather than canceling it.
“We are going to allow our current Juniors, next year’s Seniors to have a prom, but we are going to push it back to December of 2020, said Principal Jason Dreier.
That Prom will be this year’s Junior’s Prom.
He says it allows the Class of 2021 to still have their Prom and to host it with their theme.
“In the Spring, in order to keep on track with our dance rotation, the Class of 2022 or this year’s Sophomores will hold their Prom in the Spring.”
Dreier made his announcement on a Facebook video.
