
MADISON, WI – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has provided more information about COVID-19 in Wisconsin.
The latest report shows the numbers still climbing as the number of statewide positive cases jumped by close to 200.
The report shows 1.550 positive, 18,819 negative and 24 deaths.
Milwaukee County has 780 positive cases and 11 deaths along with 3,942 negative cases.
Dane County has 215 positive cases with 2 deaths along with 3.696 negative cases.
Waukesha County has 107 positive, 1,277 negative and 1 death.
In Northeast Wisconsin Counties, the numbers are:
Brown County- 11 positive, 255 negative, 0 deaths
Fond Du Lac County- 24 positive, 367 negative, 2 deaths
Kewaunee County- 0 positive, 19 negative, 0 deaths
Langlade County- 0 positive, 35 negative, 0 deaths
Marathon County- 5 positive, 224 negative, 0 deaths
Marinette County- 2 positive, 52 negative, 0 deaths
Menominee County – 1 postive, 5 negative, 0 deaths
Oconto County- 1 positive, 45 negative, 0 deaths
Outagamie County- 12 positive, 215 negative, 0 deaths
Shawano County- 0 positive, 68 negative, 0 deaths
Waupaca County- 2 positive, 66 negative, 1 death
Winnebago County- 13 positive, 240 negative, 0 deaths
The DHS also releasing that the state has 398 hospitalizations as of Wednesday.
When it comes to age of confined cases, there are no confirmed cases for patients under the age of 10 and 1 percent are patients age 90 and over or between the ages of 10-19.
20 percent come in the 60-69 age and 19 percent are age 50-59. Age 40-49 makes up 16 percent, age 30-39 is 14 percent and age 20-29 is 12 percent.
The DHS also released information on gender. More than half of the positive cases are females while 58 percent of the deaths are male.
