SHAWANO, WI – With the upcoming election, change is expected in the Shawano County Board seats, but that might not be the only change.
Shawano County Board Chairman Jerry Erdmann told the WTCH Breakfast Club that change may come at the front of the room too.
“I myself have to make a decision as to if I wish to remain Chairman of the County Board or step down, “said Erdmann. “I have been Chairman for ten years.”
He says he has confidence in his Vice-Chair Tom Kautza if he wants it.
“If Tom is willing to step up, I may just step down.
Kautza represents the Village of Birnamwood.
The decision will be made when the County Board has its organizational meeting after the election results determine the new County Board.
