GREEN BAY, WI – Green Bay Police are warning people to not leave their cars running unattended.
This reminder comes after multiple reports of vehicles being stolen in the city.
On Wednesday, a 12-year-old drove off with a pizza delivery car that was left running in a hotel parking lot.
Police say the child drove the car into a ditch and then left the vehicle to knock on a door to ask for help.
A 14-year-old passenger was also identified as a suspect in four other vehicle theft incidents.
So far this year, police in Green Bay have investigated 20 vehicle theft reports which is one more than all of 2019.
