SHAWANO COUNTY, WI – Two Shawano County teens are facing extortion charges after allegedly getting almost $6,000 dollars from a Gresham man by use of threat.
17-year-old Taniesha Tucker of Gresham and 17-year-old Anyssa Ellwart of Bowler made contact with the 27-year-old man last year.
According to the police report, the man met Tucker online and she told him she was 19.
Eventually Tucker allegedly admitted she was only 17 and demanded money to not report him.
Ellwart also contacted the man and helped her friend get even more money.
The two teens could face up to six years in prison if convicted.
