KESHENA, WI – Gena Kakkak and Ron Waukau Sr finished behind Ronald Corn Sr. but were both newly elected to the Menominee Tribal Legislature.
Ron Corn Sr. is entering his second term and will serve another three year term along with the other two.
The newly elected Legislators will be sworn into office on Sunday, February 9 a the Annual Menominee Tribal Legislature Reorganization Meeting.
The new terms will also begin that day.
Tribal Legislator Eugene Caldwell did not see re-election and Craig Corn reached his term limit.
The office of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary will be selected by the Menominee Tribal Legislature following the swearing in ceremony.
