APPLETON, WI – Appleton Police are looking for the person or person’s responsible for leaving two rabbits in a box at a park.
Officers say they located two black rabbits at Peabody Park, and took them to the Fox Valley Humane Association.
Police say it serves as a reminder that there are proper ways to surrender your pets if you can’t take care of them, but abandoning them is not acceptable.
