OCONTO COUNTY, WI – Snowmobiles were going in Northern Oconto County over the weekend as the latest snowfall allowed for trails to open.
Wet weather has made an impact on the trials in the early season, causing some of the trails to remain closed.
Local business leaders say the trail openings is good new because snowmobile traffic also drives the local economy.
Experts say weather conditions change quickly and that could mean trails will open or close based on the weather we have.
