The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office has a simple message attached to a picture on its Facebook page – “make good choices.” The picture is of a car which went through thin ice on Lake Buttes des Morts (BYOU de MOR). The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Special teams were called to pull the vehicle out of the lake. The driver wasn’t injured.
