A winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are in effect for locations north and west of the Fox Valley tonight into Wednesday. Rain and snow will develop late this afternoon or this evening across central and east central Wisconsin, and should arrive as snow across the north this evening. The snow should become heavy at times later tonight into Wednesday morning across north-central and far northeast Wisconsin. Snowfall totals of 8 to 12 inches are expected across the far north. A sharp gradient in snowfall totals are expected as you head south and east with no snow accumulation expected across the Fox Valley and lakeshore region. Poor road conditions are expected for the morning commute to work and possibly school across the north Wednesday morning. If you must travel, allow extra time to reach your destination and carry a winter survival kit.
