After a long hiatus, A Mid Summer Special will be back at the Shawano Speedway. We will be running COMPLETE SHOWS both Friday and Saturday. The Street Stocks join the Card Friday Night. CAMPING WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE GROUNDS,
“With Seymour off for the Fair on Friday, and 141 off Saturday, we felt this was great weekend to bring the Summer Classic back to Shawano.” Said Promoter Brad Luepke “We also wanted the drivers to run for a purse both days, so both days will be complete shows.”
The Street Stocks, under the Unified Rules will run Friday Night. “While their Schedule isn’t out yet, In the Past, Thunderhill Speedway ran a Saturday program in the past when 141 was off.” Says Luepke “So, we thought putting the Street Stocks on Friday gave the drivers an opportunity to run both tracks.”
