Georgia-Pacific officials say they will move the company’s napkin and towel business to other facilities after closing a plant in Green Bay. The move will cause the loss of 55 jobs at that facility in northeastern Wisconsin. Some of the work will be done at other Georgia-Pacific facilities in Green Bay. All 55 employees were offered other positions with the company. Twenty-eight accepted the different jobs, while the rest will be laid off between December 26th and January 9th.
