
June L. Bohm, 95, of Haines City, FL, formerly of Bonduel, passed away on Monday,
October 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at her home.
June was born on August 11, 1924 in (Boozetown) Township of Washington, WI to the
late Henry and Hulda Meisner. While living in Shawano, she worked as an admission
clerk in business administration at Shawano Community Hospital. June was with the
hospital for 23 years, and retired on April 3, 1992. June moved to Haines City, FL in
2014 to live with her daughter, Janice.
She was a member of Peace Church in Shawano. June was a strong, loving and
independent woman with a witty sense of humor who loved playing cards, particularly
sheepshead. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, loved the outdoors, watching nature, and
tending to her garden. She was a worldly traveler. June loved her family dearly and her
cat, “Poopsie.” She will truly be missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ruth Wussow of Shawano, WI and
Janice (Gerald) Raeder, who June resided with in Haines City, FL; her grandchildren,
Jennifer Sanders, Ronnie Wussow, Richie Wussow, Ryan Wussow, and step grandson
Jason Raeder; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Mehlhorn and her second husband,
Eugene Bohm; her siblings, Margie Muck, Loretta Rusch, and Lillian Mehlhorn; and
grandson, Thomas C. Conklin Jr.
A funeral service for June will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at
Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano. Pastor Gail Irwin will officiate. Burial will take
place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the
time of service.
