The Brown County Sheriff’s Office reports a Ledgeview man was killed when his small airplane crashed into a pickup truck while he was trying to land the aircraft Thursday. The driver of the pickup was critically injured, but no names have been released. Investigators say they don’t know why the single-engine plane was so low as it crossed the road. It wound up sitting on top of the truck.
