A ten year prison sentence for the Clintonville man accused of kidnapping a 15 year old girl and holding her hostage while having sex with her. Elijah Kerrigan was found guilty of Child Enticement with Sexual Contact, Possession of Child Pornography, and Possession with Intent to Deliver Amphetamine to a Minor. Police say Kerrigan stayed at the landmark hotel in Clintonville in early January with the 15 year old girl, having sex and doing drugs with the youth. Authorities believe he tried extort money from the girl’s mother, reportedly demanding cash for her safe return. Kerrigan will spend eight years in extended supervision Following his 10-year prison sentence.
